Parents Demanding Grandchildren?

Both biological parents are trying to guilt trip me into having kids. I'm not having them because someone else wants me to!

It's so not right for parents, or anyone for that matter, to put pressure on you to have kids. My mother in law used to always talk about how she couldn't wait to have grandkids and just wanted to be a Nanna already. She knew we were trying and that we'd had three miscarriages, yet she talked about her own desires for us to have kids like it should be easy and she's so hard done by because we hadn't given her any grandkids yet. I'd come home from family things so upset sometimes. The pressure some parents put on their kids is ridiculous!!

Let them know you're not ready and you will only have a child when you are ready. They deserve grandkids but they need to wait until you're ready.

Somehow our parents think they have a right to dictate how we run our life and what choices we make. My in laws and parents used to pressure us and we didn't want kids. I ended up getting pregnant anyways and decided to keep him. Then my in laws started acting like he was their kid and they had some type of right to be in his life or tell us how to raise him. 
Tell them to mind their own business. Having a child to satiate someone else's needs is the worst reason to have a child.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way!!! I just don't want kids. I thought I did, but I just don't. I love children but I'm not cut out to be a mom.

It's annoying. We've kinda changed our minds about children. When my sister asked I said we didn't want them, her reply was 'oh that's sad' then shouted 'MUUUUUUUM, HAVE YOU HEARD THIS?! LAURA AND MATT DON'T WANT BABIES!!!' Then ran into the kitchen to tell her 😳. It really annoyed me.
