Saw this on my friends Facebook and the comments got me heated. Couldn't respond though because I was on her account. I'm not surprised the comments are just a bunch of men who keep missing the point and immediately getting defensive.

The only thing I don’t agree with is that it was targeted at men and not both men and women. Women are just as capable of rape as men are and the targeted audience should truly be anyone. 
But other than that, I like the idea of teaching people not to rape instead of teaching them how to avoid getting raped. It speaks volume.

🤦🏽‍♀️ how are people not understanding this? Obviously an actual rapist isn't going to read this and not rape. That's not the point. The point is to not blame the victim. I see the same things on victims of bullying. It's always "well if you just would have stood up to your bully", how about instead of targeting victims behavior we start looking at the actual problems behavior, which is the perpetrator. These guys got so immediately defensive, as though all men were being attacked, that they completely missed the point and just look like a bunch of jackasses.

Apparently if you are in anyway a decent person you’re a stupid liberal. “Ugh you don’t like rape, stupid liberal”, “ugh you think fat peoples deserve respect, stupid liberal”, “ugh you think LGBTQ+ deserve rights, stupid liberal”. 🙄🙄🙄 they are literally the only arguments those people can come up with.
