Circumcision ?

I'm having a little boy and not sure if I want to circumcise I never even thought about it til now and if I don't do so how exactly do I clean him I'm a first time mum so I'm new to this but especially being a little boy. Advice please xx

Nope, they're born with it for a reason. No care besides wiping during changes and washing with baths

I had my son circumcised. It healed up in less than a week. He slept through the appointment. He was 2 days old when he had it. I will definitely do it again should I have another little boy.

I would never personally do it to my son. I think it's unnesscary. And as someone else here already said. Becareful Because people often get rude on these topics simply because people have different opinions on the matter.

We chose not to circumcise our son for various reasons. It's globally considered a cosmetic procedure. Definitely do your own research on it and look at sources outside the US. It isn't hard at all to clean, just warm water honestly just google it if your unsure of how to care for uncircumcised penis

Please don't do it. The foreskin doesn't naturally separate from the penis until they are much older so (ignoring all the additional care necessitated by the aftermath of the surgery) there will be no difference de in cleaning until they get older. There is absolutely no reason to circumcise a normal penis unless the owner of said penis wants it done. Why you would even consider something so extreme is beyond me.

Over here in the UK they never offer it as an option because it's a cosmetic thing, it's not needed! They only get it done for real medical reasons or for religious purposes.

I wouldn't  do it it's just cutting a body part for no reason. and it's there for a reason  it's really easy to clean just do your research  on  actual  facts not just what people tell you about it being hard to clean( false) he won't look like his dad (that's creepy) just do what's best for you love.

I don't have my baby boy circumcised. You don't have to clean an uncircumcised penis my doctor said, just wipe when changing nappies and wash as normal when bathing.

We chose not to. It's not necessary and I have two friends who's son's had complications, three more that were talking about how much pain their children were in after. Before all that I thought I would, but I just couldn't possibly take any chances with my sweet boy when they weren't even needed. I don't judge people who do, I just couldn't risk it personally.
