Did he actually mean it?

My ex and I broke up, and it was kinda a hostile breakup on his end, I just wanted to be civil because we share a friend group.

But last night he mentioned this "hot new girl" at his job, in our group chat. Do you think he actually mean it and is gonna hit her up, or is saying it to annoy me. Seeing everytime he mentioned her it was right after I said something. Plus he could've easily texted his two guy friends privately Bc they do that. But it really really hurts that he said that.
