Clarity please!

so... my cycle is 30 days. Since I got off my BC(pill) I have started my period on the 7th the past 2 months. Husband and I had sex when I thought I was ovulating and so on. I've taken like 5 tests... all negative but like 3 of them were too early I guess. so I took one on the 5th and one today (the 8th)... they were ALL negative.. And I STILL have not started.... should I get different tests? can there be false negatives? should I just wait it out? This will be my 2nd kid BTW.
