We found out we were pregnant, when my period was 5 days late on the Thursday. It was unplanned, but yet we were so excited. The Sunday we had sex and noticed a bit of blood. The blood never stopped and was accompanied by a bit of cramping. The next day we went to the hospital where they did some ultrasounds and took blood to do some tests. They said they couldn't see the sac, so mostly likely having an early stage miscarriage. We were so devastated. Unplanned, but yet so wanted. I took a normal test yesterday and today and both came back negative. Tried going to work today but I couldn't be there. Too sad. I know 5 weeks is early, and we didn't know for very long, but it's still so hard. How long should I take off work for something like this? What is normal?
