baby isn't latching.

I just gave birth to my 3rd baby 3 days ago. He's still not latching properly, I also have inverted nipples which make it more difficult. My supply hasn't come in at all yet and my breast are hard as rocks and super engorged. I've tried alot of methods for relief and nothing seems to be working. I've been pumping since baby isn't latching and I'll sit there for ever and nothing comes out, I'm so close of just giving up. I know my son isn't eating and he cries day and night, I even went to a lactation consultant today and she could only do so much, she tried helping him get latched on for about an hr and was not successful , she said to keep trying. like yea I am ladylol. I know it's only been 3 days but I already gave him formula and sure enough he got the bottle right away and he's been asleep for an hr so far, surprisingly. I never had any of these problems with my previous babies.
