Should Ace/Aros be part of the LGBTQIA community??

Jordan • Agender genderfluid Pansexual biromantic Scottish Spanish Rromani

100% yes. Personally, I'm not ace or aro, but I have a friend who is and she experiences just as much acephobia as I get homophobia. Can you imagine if all gay/bi/pan/etc people started trying to kick out all trans/agender/nb/etc because they're saying that the LGBT+ community is only for sexualities? No, there's a 'T' in LGBTQIA just as there's an 'A'. It's basically the same thing; one group of people trying to kick another out of their community. And that's completely ridiculous, because all of us have experienced shit for who we kiss (or not kiss), and what gender we identify as And we're never going to get anywhere, never going to be accepted into society and never going to get rid of homophobia/acephobia/transphobia and all other phobias out there against the LGBTQIA if we're constantly fighting amongst ourselves. So 100% - actually no, 1000% - yes, asexuals and aromantics do belong in the LGBTQIA, just like any other non straight, non cis gender person. It doesn't matter if they identify as heterosexual aromantic or asexual heteroromantic or cisgender, they're still part of the LGBTQIA community.

Sorry for the rant, but it had to be said.
