How often do you wash your hair?

I've washed my hair every single day for as long as I can remember & if I don't get a shower within 24 hours it starts to get greasy & I feel gross. I really want to get out of the cycle of washing it every day. If you had to do the same thing how long did it take for your hair to get used to it?? Thanks 😊
