Both. It's a relationship and it's both your home. He might not care as much, or vise versa, but opinions and thoughts should always be brought into consideration. My fiance has made each decorating decision with me. If I hated something he wouldn't buy it and if he hated something, I wouldn't buy it.

i mean usually the girl has the most ideas and gets picky to where things go, but she and her boyfriend/husband can work together so they both like the place they are living in together.

My fiancé and I are getting a new place together when we get married and we're both involved in the decorating. We both will live there so we should both like it. But, I enjoy the whole decorating process more than he does so I'll do most of the work. But it should never be all on one person's shoulders
