When to take pacifier away?

Have any of you mommys gotten rid of the paci? My daughter uses it only when sleeping, but I'd like to get rid of it sometime soon. Any advice?

Mine seems to be self weaning right now...she will take it on occasion at night,  it doesn't rely on it at all which is awesome! I was worried about weaning, but it seems like it's going to be out within the next month! She never walked around with it unless she was upset, so that's. Ice too!

I only offer it at bedtime, but my husband gives it to him every time he cries 🙄 I want him weaned off it by the time he's walking. We'll see how that goes...

My little one only uses it also while napping/sleeping. I'm hoping to take it away before she turns one, same with the bottle.
