How to save money?

I can’t save money to save my life I always end up spending it so How do you guys save money without spending it ? I recently about to start this job that pays about 700+ bi weekly and I got this other job that pay about 100-300 every week(unless I don’t work that week due to my off days) so how I can save to get an apartment

I treat my savings as if it were a bill, it's non negotiable. Think about how much you can reasonably save each month while still having extra money leftover for yourself. Once you figure out a reasonable number, whether it's $100 or $500 monthly just set it aside in a savings account and don't touch it once it goes in.

I would open a savings at a different bank than where your main account is. Have a small amount direct deposited in to that account from each paycheck and you won't even miss it! I donthat with our savings ao I'm not seeing it each time I check my balance and get tempted by it.

I'm awful at saving money. I have jars in my house that have cash in them because I have to physically remove the money from my account so I don't spend it. Currently working on the "baby fund"

I would open and separate account and automatically transfer 100-200 per month or per week I don't know what you need to survive. No online shopping to tempt yourself. If you have a goal. Keep it. I used to do anything 5.00 and less goes into a jar and cash it in at the bank or coinstar and deposit the cash. I would have 3000-5000 in a year for concert season when I was younger. Now that I'm an adult I still save my coins and cash them in. Any quarters that are 1965 or older are silver. 4 quarter is an ounce of silver and depending what the value of silver is what cost a dollar could be 16 or 40 bucks I save and collect them and take them to the coin collector shop when the price of silver goes up. I use savings apps. Ibotta. Checkout51. I'm gonna get the stuff anyway might as well get cash back. I love saving money. I use coupons.com and go to individual websites for their coupons too. Only buy if it's on sale. I use ebates it pays quarterly. Ibotta and checkout51 are on 20.00 increments and up before you can transfer it out to PayPal or vemeo to you checking account.
