Yeast infection?

So I've had on again off again itching down there and it's really starting to bother me. I've switched soap, I drink a lot of water, I've been very aware of everything. It doesn't hurt to burn and i don't have like any bad discharge that isn't the normal at least. I went to the doctor yesterday and they said it may not be an infection, even though I asked for the test. But said if it continues to use like Monistat 7. Any ideas? Or rulings about Monistat I'm 33 weeks in two days and I just wanna stop itching.
