So can you eat the cheese dip at Mexican restaurants while pregnant or no?

I've been reading so many things I'm not sure if you really can or can't. Did you eat it or eat it now while pregnant?

my doc said anything pasteurized is fine-most cheese dips are. the only cheese she mentioned specifically was queso blanco...which i don't think most cheese dips are made of. i was served it once a few weeks ago and it was shredded/crumbled and i had to get them to take it back...but if it's cooked it should be fine

yes. I had the same question cuz I craved white queso like crazy.... Dr said most cheeses and lunchmeats in the US are fine, so long as it's not coming from a sketchy source...  I wish I knew how to make it from home, I've tried and failed many times, not sure exactly what kind of cheese they use but god I love that stuff!
