Loss of appetite while breastfeeding?

Question

Im about to be two weeks PP and I'm breastfeeding full time, but I've noticed loss of appetite. I'm not hungry at all, I still eat my breakfast lunch and dinner but it's more forced than anything. Is anybody else experiencing this?

I've been the same! I'll be 2 weeks PP tomorrow and have to force myself to eat. I don't feel hungry at all lately!

Ooh I definitely felt this way. I usually always pick what we're eating and my husband started getting so frustrated because I was never in the mood for anything. I'm 4 weeks out now and it's still not where it used to be but I'm definitely hungrier than I was those first few weeks.

I was so tired the first two weeks eating felt like a waste of time lol. I'd rather sleep.

This happened to me a few days before I got mastitis. I'm sure it was just a coincidence.

I think it has to do with hormones balancing out and your body going back to normal. I went through it and now all I want to do is eat.

Im not breastfeeding but im feeling the same way im litteraly forcing my self to eat since im not hungry the only thing is i feel thirsty!!!

2 weeks and 1 day PP and i can only seem to eat a meal a day , defiantly lost my appetite.

me too :/ it sucks but ive got like no appetite, i would force myself to eat but it doesnt help that im a single mother with a newborn baby like when shes asleep i got other things to do then make a whole bunch of dishes cooking a meal im not even going to enjoy .. sigh... ive been tryna just make myself eat frozen dinners so im consuking something. i must say tho a relative made me a healthy chicken dinner wit vegtables and fried rice and it was amazing to taste some real food !
