best days for conception are 2 and 3 days before you ovulate. it takes sperm 24 hours to build up so having sex multiple times per day does not usually increase your odds. Also it is difficult to conceive on ovulation day itself because sperm require 4-6 hours for a process called capacitation and an egg only lives 12-24 hours so it is very difficult to time it on o day. it is best to have them waiting in your tubes when the egg is released. Because sperm can live up to 5 days in fertile cm, it is best to BD at least every other day that you notice it (or every day if sperm issues are not a problem). once your cm changes back to infertile quality it is impossible to conceive.
