I was at a baby shower this evening for my cousin in law and her baby girl (her first baby). After the games, right before the snack, the host (sister in law of the new mom) said she had one more thing to read (although she didn't look like she wanted to). She read a cute little poem that ended up being a pregnancy announcement for their other sister in law.... don't ask me why she didn't do it herself because I really don't know. There was not much of a reaction from the guests as i think everyone was in shock that she would announce it at someone else's shower...or maybe it's because she still has a baby under a year old...I'm not sure. So I'm curious if anyone else would be okay with someone making that sort of announcement at your special event. Why or why not? Or would it need to be under specific circumstances?
