It's ok, but I think it's wise to reduce the amount if your intake of caffeine is high and stay hydrated.

My Midwife told me that drinking coffee while pregnant can cause your body to not absorb certain mineral like iron magnesium ect...
Being that I'm slightly anemic and my iron levels have been somewhat low my entire pregnancy I couldn't justify it for myself. Also, I've had Braxton Hicks since 16 weeks and the main thing they give you for that is magnesium. How it that going to help me if my body isn't absorbing the mineral I need to stop the contraction. Another thing I have read that drinking caffeine during pregnancy can cause you to have a colici baby. Just my two cents.

Idk.. caffeine fucks me up, so I can only imagine what it does to a fetus.. I wouldn't.. just like nicotine, it's a stimulant and there's still trace amounts in decaf.

I'm going to tell you my experience . My husband & I "were" heavy coffee drinkers . 3-4 cups a day . We were ttc for almost a year before getting pregnant . On our 9-10th month of ttc I decided to cut coffee out. & finally on our 11 month we got pregnant ! So I do believe it played a big role because that was the only thing different I did for those cycles . I believe caffeine does play a big role in ttc ! Good luck ✨

It's okay to drink coffee while pregnant but only a limited amount unless it's decaf coffee. Caffeine isn't good for a baby in large amounts. I stopped drinking coffee al together while I was pregnant but I didn't drink it much anyway so it wasn't hard for me
