Has anyone transitioned there baby into there cot yet?

my 5 month old is nearly head to toe in her bassinet in our room, she has just started to roll onto her belly and i know i have to move her into her cott but i am scared to make this big change as we almost lost our baby when she was 6 weeks old and i feel like i am not ready for this. how did you go about this big change?? FTM

I transitioned my daughter to a crib at four months but I still have her crib in my room that way she can learn to sleep in the crib and roll etc but she is close by. I don't know how long she will stay in my room I'm thinking at least 6 months probably more like 8 when I feel really comfortable with her rolling back and forth.

My LO has been in her crib at 2.5-3 months! We have a monitor in there and she's been doing great!

I transitioned my LO from a bassinet for a pack and play for now. Her older sisters are about to outgrow their baby mattresses and I hate to go buy another one. She's been in her pack and play for about 3 weeks now but she's still in our room. She was very attached to her bassinet so transitioning wasn't real smooth.

my little boy has been in his cot since he was 9 weeks old, he likes to sleep star shaped. He sleeps like a dream and loves to play in his cot too :)

my only advise would be to make sure that it's the only thing you change... make sure the rest of the bed time routine is the same ... should help the transition and reassure lo that everything is normal

My son has been in his crib since he was 5wks old and he loves it. We do room share which I love!! We room shared with our 20 month old until she was 15 months and only moved her into her own room because our March baby was almost due. With her I was so scared to transition her from her rock n play to her crib because she was such a good sleeper but when she was 5 months she was way to big for it. She transitioned beautifully with no issues at all. Babies are very good at adapting.
