Dr. asked if I was eating enough 😳
Ok so here's the deal. I'm a curvy girl. Pre-pregnancy I didn't always eat healthy. I drank water but mostly sweet tea (it's a staple in the south) or the occasional Dr. Pepper. Since I've been pregnant I have increased my water intake, still have the occasional sweet tea or sprite, I eat healthier but still have fast food on occasion. The only thing that's really changed is my water intake has increased and the amount of food I eat is a little less. Like some meals I eat everything on my plate and some meals I eat maybe a 1/4 of it and I'm full. I'm 16 weeks today and have been went 4 times and every time I go I've lost weight. I'm not sure how much cause they did not tell me and I did not ask but I know it's not enough for me to even notice a difference. I'm thinking 2 pounds or so every month. So when she asked me I was a little surprised. I mean I eat until I'm full and in between meals I'll eat nuts or crackers or whatever. I hate overeating cause I feel absolutely miserable for a few hours after but I eat enough that I'm no longer hungry. Should I eat more often or just keep listening to my stomach when it tells me I'm hungry? I know eventually I'll start gaining weight but for now?
