So I got paraguard yesterday and I never imagined how much it was going to hurt. I was totally not prepared. Didn't really help that I have a small cervix so the gyno had to open it more. Anyways my cramping afterwards was terrible. I wanted to rip it out myself. Today my cramps had subsided and I've just had a couple minor ones. But a fair warning that it does hurt to get in :)
