I had Mirena placed a month ago on the first day of my period, had it for 5 days, ehich is normal and it was done. 3 weeks later i started my period. I have been on it for 8 long days now, tomorrow being 9. Last night i thought it was FINALLY done and nope this am hubby amd myself found out that was not the case since we were dxcited to get it on without me being on pwriod and having to shower. thank god hes understanding. Will it ever end?!! I know it take 3 to 6 months for your body to figure it out but this long of a period is just ridiculous.
