PayPal error?!

So I was buying stuff with my PayPal as usual today. And I was making a lot of purchases. In the middle of the night I woke up, remembering something I wanted to buy. I tried to purchase it via PayPal. When I tried to buy, I got the message along the lines of "unable to purchase, please find another way to purchase". Does this happen when you use your credit card too often in one day? A error? Help!! I'm on the verge of having a panic attack.
