New piercing Advice?

Hey guys! I got my industrial piercing about 4 weeks ago, I'm sure it's doing ok ... well I'm not sure because yesterday I made the huge mistake of taking it out and putting it back in 😧🤦🏽‍♀️. I guess I was very curious. When I took it out I saw a really light colored fluid, I don't think it was puss and it wasn't leaking from my ear, just on the bar. The fact of the matter is I want to make sure it's alright... I do sea salt soaks and clean it with sea salt water qtips. The top piercing in the cartridge is sore yet the bottom isn't..any other suggestions please ? Thanks ❤️ -Ess

It looks fine, don't take it out. Don't touch it and don't play with it. Saline soak it a few times a day. You should really be fine the clear fluid is basically what helps heal it. If and when you get crusties or "pus" on the bar don't scrape it of or play with it those crusties keep it healing, when you have shower is the only time you should wipe them away and that's when they go soft.

You probably just irritated it. You shouldn't take it out until its healed so now its a little upset lol just keep an eye on it for infection. The soreness should go down in a few days

It's just irritated now.
BUT DO NOT take it out and leave it out until its 6-12 months old. You can POSSIBLY start changing it at 4-6 months.
But your going to delay your healing process if you routinely take it out. Just leave it.
Also your jewelry is EXTREMELY long 😂😂 you should probably go get the bar shortened soon.

It took almost a full year for mine to heal completely. I cleaned it daily but sleeping on it and getting hair on it can keep it from healing as fast as it could. Of course everyone is different but just keep it clean and don't take it out. After it's healed enough to change jewelry (4-6 weeks) try putting in two separate pieces, this helped mine heal much faster. Good luck. :)
