Today we had our follow up to our 1st failed <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> cycle. So, we left feeling more angry and confused than optimistic for the next cycle. we initially went into <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> because we were told there was a male fertility factor and everything was fine with me. Now today we get the news that the egg quality is not great and now we need microdose Lupron flare. OK no problem...but why are we just finding this out? I looked at all the medical records and here are a couple of red flags that I think should have cancelled the cycle or at least raised some red flags. I was on birth control for 3 1/2 months to lose a few lbs., My AMH was 0.5, I didn't start to respond to stimulation until day 6, between day 6 and 8 my follicles decreased before increasing, follicles were not the appropriate size until day 14 of stimulation. I'm trying to be optimistic but I don't know about the next cycle and of course we have none frozen so this is our 2 FET that we paid out of pocket along with the cost of medication. Am I missing something? are there some variables I'm missing? Any advice? Anyone else been through this? We are both 33, I have a 10 yr old from previous marriage, ttc for 1 year
