How do you feel about your baby drinking other people's breastmilk?

Saw an article that a lady was donating breastmilk for other babies, what do y'all think about this?

I've donated my breastmilk to NICU babies. It can literally be lifesaving.

Cows milk is made for cows. Human milk is made for human babies. I see no issue with human babies drinking human milk.

I would happily nurse my friend's baby and have no problem with her nursing mine. 
If I pumped I would happily donate to a milk bank. 
If my baby was in the nicu I would be extraordinarily grateful for donated milk.

I will also be donating my excess breast milk. They do extensive testing for the donors to ensure that we don't have any communicable diseases and extensive screening to ensure proper hygiene, pump cleaning and diet. It is not weird at all. No weirder than drinking milk from another species and certainly better for an infant. The benefits of breast milk outweigh and "grossness" of it and I would have certainly used donor milk if I was unable to breastfeed my son.

this is how I feel about it. if it's not 100% necessary then no I don't agree with it just like I don't agree with selling your breast milk online to make a profit. but I did have a daughter who was born 8 weeks early and was in NICU for 29 days and I will say this, she was on donor milk for a week because I stopped producing milk and she was a week away from being put on this special formula and it made her sick. her tummy wouldn't process it. later we found out she can't have dairy. but in this case I 100% agree with it because so many preemie newborns in NICU need it to thive, some have no mother's because they were drug babies and some had mother's like me who stopped producing milk way too early. without breast milk or donor breast milk who knows if some of these babies would have lived or not.

I was given the generous donation of milk from a friend of a friend. I used it when I had to go back to work because I can't pump enough to meet my baby's needs.

This depends- I mean, how many people buy organic and free range animal products over GMO? Formula is laboratory made. Breastmilk is 'free range and organic' lol. My MIL was in a bad car accident when my husband was a baby and another woman was his wet nurse. Scientifically, breastmilk is better for infants by not containing all of the chemicals and being easier to digest. I said SCIENTIFICALLY- this doesn't mean formula is the devil or that I'm putting anyone down- my older children had formula after a few months. I can't say what I would do for my youngest son if I couldn't nurse. I've learned a lot about formula so though I would prob not use a milk bank, if I knew the woman, I would prob prefer he had the natural milk over formula. Hands down.

I would feel strange feeding my baby another women's breast milk it's not for me. Fair play to women and babies it has helped though
