when did you start shaving your legs? did you start on your own or did a parent suggest it?

(or for parents - when did your dd start shaving? or when would you let her?)

my 10 year old daughter has been graced with early puberty starting Last school year!) I went thru the same.

shes developed breasts, needs deodorant, is breaking out, and is growing hair in new places.

I was 11 when I shaved my legs. but I'm Italian. and have very dark hair. and on my light legs, it made me very self conscious.

my daughter has dark blond light brown hair. and her hair isn't s noticeable, but it's thick and there's a lot of it.

shes going into 5the grade. and will be wearing shorts /skirts until it gets cooler out. maybe 2 months?

idk If we should start letting her shave now, or wait until this school year is over and it'll be summer. (shorts, baithing suits, etc)

would you leave it up to the child? bc some girls might not even care to shave. but if they do want to... what would you do???
