what you really need is folate, not folic acid.  folic acid is synthetic,  folate is natural

What? Do you have a link for that claim?  Birth defects for lack of folic acid. But I've never heard it be linked to autism. 
I take folate, since folic is the synthetic version of folate.

Never have I ever heard of too much folic acid causing autism... this just doesn't make sense and I don't believe this is scientifically something that can happen.

Also the 400, 600, 800 etc are mcg not mg

Mine is 5mg. I've been prescribed it by the hospital as Ive had 2 miscarriages. In the uk the standard over the counter folic acid is 400. I have never ever heard about a link with autism and folic acid intake (or lack of).

A mine have just 400mcg I think I will double up on them every other day, seeing that you all have 800.

I have a genetic thing that makes it so my body doesn't absorb the folate :/

I checked out Boots in the UK and there they just have vitamins with 400mg. They dont even offer 800.
