Cats in the room?

When did you/are you planning to let your cats in your room with baby? Our baby sleeps in our room and we've been keeping the cats out. But they hate it.
Our baby is now 3 months and I'm not sure she's old enough yet, but I was wondering what others do/have done?

Our cat has always been around the girls.  She's protective of them and will stand guard when we're in the yard- if I have to run inside she's right there next to them until I get back.   It's so sweet like a mommy instinct in her. 😺😻

We let our cat in. He is afraid of the baby so I'm not worried. He never goes in the crib.

My cats have always been in the room with my baby. The curious one maybe sniffed him once or twice but mostly they tried to stay away from him and cuddle with us, they missed us.

my cats don't bother my little at all. been in the room since she was born. They are kind of afraid of her. little will be 4 month next month
