CIO??

Question

How do y'all do iiiiiit?
Seriously, my baby can cry a whole hour and probably still keep going (one time I just needed a shower to myself and enjoy it because I would've gone crazy) and Babe cried the whole time- hard cries like no breathing and lots of coughing.
Even when I'm right next to the crib sleeping in my bed (where babe wants to be), even when my hand is on Babe's chest, even when I try to space out the times I check on Babe. Even when we tried the nursery.
I hate it. I don't understand.
Babe used to sleep so well on their own until teething. All night Babe would sleep in the bassinet.
How do your babies stop crying???

I don't want to do CIO and don't plan to. I just don't understand how you could bc my baby doesn't stop crying?? Literally does not stop. I don't understand????
It's not pain and we've seen the ped about it.

same boat! I just feel like maybe sleep training isn't for us yet. my girl isalso 7mos and teething bad. no teeth yet. I just brought her back into bed and decided to wait a bit longer maybe till 10 months and try again. she needs me and I can't bear the sound of her wails and cries.

We've been doing the sleep lady shuffle. But my LO became hysterical when I got to the door. And I was getting too stressed out about sleep training. So we're just practicing the routine, I put her to bed drowsy and sit next to the crib until she falls asleep. Sometimes I'll shush or pat her, if she's been crying but for the most part she rolls around and talks herself to sleep. She's 6 months old. Good luck! Sleep training is so difficult.

Some babies are just easier than others. My son is the same. I can't even so next to him without him crying. So I'm gunna wait a bit longer to sleep train. When he's ready I'm sure I'll know.

I haven't been able to either because, like your baby, my son doesn't give up. We tried to take away his pacifier and for 2 full days every sleep he would cry for about 2 hours until he fell asleep, exhausted, in our arms. It was awful.

utilize ur bouncer, swings, toys, activity gems, playpen, walker let him cry it out for a bit he will eventually  realize hey she right here and not picking me up let me entertain myself it's hard but u have to regain ur sanity back don't feel bad we all go thru it one time or another

I would never do CIO. Babies cry for a reason as it is heir only way to communicate. The longest I will let my baby cry is 10 minutes.  
When your baby cries like that do you go through everything that could be wrong like diaper, gas, hungry, burps etc? Or do you just assume he wants to be picked up? When my daughter went through a "hold me forever" stage I used the gentle method to sort it out. You pick them up when they cry and then set hem back down once they're soothed. It took my about 50 times of picking her up and setting her down over the course of 2 hours the first night, by the 3rd night I set her down and she went to sleep. It's been smooth sailing ever since. Maybe your baby would benefit from a method similar? CIO doesn't work for all babies and mommas. 
Also to not necessarily bad that they cry sometimes as they need to learn to self soothe but could he maybe have something going on? Teeth? Tummy ache? Colic?
