I love you during sex?

Okay so I know people say you can't over analyze when a guy says things to you in bed but I am just curious that's all. So my boyfriend and I have been together for almost 3 years now and we've been in love for quite some time already. He always says he loves me, even when we get off the phone or before I head home. He is my first, as in I've lost my virginity to him. And we've been having sex for a few months when we can. So just yesterday we were having intense sex, and he presses his head against mine while we're doing it and he says he loves me. He's said he loves me in bed before but I just wanna know what it means in my situation?
