OTC medication during pregnancy? Help!

Question

Struggling with sinus issues, the doctor gave me a list of recommended OTC medications and sudafed is approved... when I talked to a pharmacist he said absolutely not only Benadryl and simple saline nasal spray... any body have any advise?

Answer

Sudafed (aka pseudophedrine hydrochloride) is rated by the Australians as a B2 (see picture). I would stick to a humidifier, saline nasal spray and benedryl if you can handle it.
