What problems has everyone suffered with since coming off the depo?

I took one shot of depo at the end of May 2016, and for 7 months after that I had just about every side effect you can imagine.
Crazy heavy bleeding, HUGE clots, cramping that felt like someone was stabbing me, stabbing pain in my breasts, headaches, body aches, weight loss, loss of appetite, nausea, dizziness and major fatigue, hot flashes and night sweats. Probably some other things I forgot. 
One instance I bled for 19 days straight and then decided to go to the hospital because it got to the point where I was changing one of those overnight pads every hour. Doctors had to take my blood pressure multiple times and give me an IV because my volume was low. Overall I went to the hospital twice. Only to be told it’s side effects from the shot and there was nothing they could do but give me Tylenol and an IV.
I thought I was pregnant so many times. And then I started doubting that I could ever get pregnant at all. I thought I ruined my body for good and got depressed. 🙄 My poor husband and family were so scared because I was sick for so many months and I rarely get sick or even complain.
After the 7th month my OBGYN put me on birth control pills to regulate the bleeding and thank goodness it worked! After a few days the bleeding stopped. I took that for 3 months and my cycle was regular during that time with no breakthrough bleeding.
In April of this year my OBGYN cleared me to stop taking the pills so we could see if my period would come on it’s own and be normal. And it did! In May and June it came, and though it was heavy, it only lasted my normal amount! 
At the end of June I found out I was pregnant! I’m now about 6 months with baby #1 who is completely healthy and so am I ❤️
Not everyone has the side effects I did, so I won’t tell everyone to steer clear, but I advise everyone do EXTENSIVE research before making that decision. Doctors just hand you a pamphlet and make you think it’s a miracle shot that’s gone after 3 months or whatever.

I was put on depo in 2015. It was not my decision my parents made it for me and I had no option. I stopped getting them a year after I started and a year after that my period finally came back. I am now in the tww and it is killing me. I’ve decided to get some extra tests to use earlier. My first period since depo was hell. I was super crazy emotional and felt like I got hit by a truck. It’s been 1 week since me and my bf last had sex and it’s been a hectic week for us both. We don’t live together yet but are looking now. We want kids and are trying but the waiting is going to be the hardest part for us I think. Sorry I got off topic but yeah depo sucks. I got hit with a huge weight gain 15+ pounds fast which is hard on a teenager, insane mood swings more than usual I should say and it was overall a bad experience.
