Has anyone wonder if the Bible is to complicated to understand?

Sometimes I read it and I'm lost. I always wonder how do u know what ur reading is useful today.

Gods word is a living book. Pray for understand before reading. He will reveal things to you (sometimes slowly) in His timing. Only He can open your eyes to see the truth as He will do just that if you continue to seek Him with your whole heart. Every time I read my Bible I get something different out of it... I can read the same scripture a dozen different times and it's always new and beneficial.

I think if you truly want to fully understand it you have to learn Aramaic/Hebrew. The original language of the Bible. 
Meaning and words have been lost in translation which is why it becomes so confusing. 
I mean just go to google and translate a sentence over 10 different languages and back to English and see if you get the same sentence.. 
There's different translations and versions that can help you get the gist of it.

Personally I find that if I pray for guidance before I read a lot will apply to directly what I'm dealing with. The Bible was really confusing to me in the past, but once I started understanding and differentiating between Old Testament/ New Testament it got much easier.

I think many of the Scriptures are similar in that they require context to understand them. I'm Muslim and read the Qur'an with explanations alongside to help me interpret what I'm reading. Yes, much will be relevant to the time, but I think we can still take lessons from those stories if we understand them properly.

Hi, I am a member of the Baha'i faith which is the newest religion in the world. It explains progressive revelation which means all of the religions are one but God sends down manifestations when humanity needs guidance. For example Christ was sent down when the people of the world needed a new structure. Then when the teachings of Christ no longer fit to the ways of the world God sent down Mohammad to bring a new teaching that fit with what was happening in the world at that time. Now that the world is changing very much so God sent down Baha'u'llah to spread a message of peace, love, unity, the equality of men and women and so much more. The reason that we have progressive revelation is because you can't relate teachings that was meant for 2000 years ago because the world has changed. It doesn't mean Christ teachings were wrong because they were exactly what we needed at the time but God knows at this time we need more guidance and understanding of the world or we wouldn't be able to live.

Complicated, yes. But not TOO complicated. Try reading other versions, I use New Living translation (NLT) it helps me so much. Never let complications stop you from reading the word of God, that's why there is Bible study (also very interesting and fun to do) 😊

The most accurate translation of the original Greek and Hebrew is the King James Version, which can still be very difficult. It helps to have a Bible with commentary and to go to church to understand.
