3 days ago I left my abusive (emotionally, verbally, and physically) boyfriend. I took some of my and my daughter's stuff and went to my parents. the next day I went over there to get my daughter's crib. as I was taking it apart he came up and kicked the crib and broke it. so I'm like what the fuck? then he starts laughing and called me a cunt, so I smacked him in the face. (open hand) and he called the police and they arrested me for domestic violence (first time I've ever laid a hand on him). yesterday I had a court date and now have to get a lawyer. this is just a mess. ugh.
