When will/did everyone stop bf their little ones?

My daughter just turned 1 & I started trying to wean her but I swear she wants to Breastfeed more now than before. I know I'll miss that time with her, but I know I need to wean.. 
When did you ladies stop?

I plan on breastfeeding until a year, my son is currently 6.5 months. 
If youre not ready and neither is your daughter, theres no reason to stop. You can breastfeed as long as you want

I'm planning on breastfeeding my 10mo as long as possible. I'm currently pregnant and  I'm totally open to tandem nursing.

Yes a lot of them go back to nursing frequency of a newborn at a year old. A year is a really hard time to wean for this reason. It's because of all of the developmental leaps that happen. They are learning to walk and to talk among a ton of other skills. So nursing gives them the peace and calm that they can't get with their mind so active.

My goal was a year. we made it to 16 months and found out I was pregnant. I decided to start weaning her. It was tough for both of us haha. If I hadn't been pregnant I would have kept going. She's 18 months now and has been weaned for about a month but she still tries to pull a breast out to eat haha. But it's more the comfort and skin contact that she wants so she'll rest her face on my chest when she needs an extra snuggle, usually when she's tired or upset. I'm glad we made it so far and that we've been able to hold onto that bond of breastfeeding. Good Luck mama, do what feels right and best for you and your baby!

My daughter is 14months with no interest in stopping. The more I try to encourage weaning the more she turns into a total boobatarian. We'll go two years tops because I'm ready to be done now.

No baby yet, but I plan to breast feed until around 1 1/2 which is when we will start trying for the next baby. I hope to breast feed and also occasionally pump (a few times a day) so that I have enough to at least include it regularly until age 2.

mine is 13 months and still breastfeeding. i plan on letting her wean herself but that may change if i go to school
