Poo changes when starting solids?
I'm a ftm and a couple of weeks ago we started our daughter on purées. We started off with rice cereal for several days, then banana, and now we've just started on pumpkin. She's loved all of it so far, but I've noticed that the last couple of days her poo has started to change. It's gone from the normal breastfeeding runny poo to being a lot thicker. Today in particular she has only pooed very small amounts of much thicker poo (not solid or pellet like though like adult constipation looks..) three times. I'm not sure if this is normal or if it's constipation? When I did a bit of googling I realised that banana can cause constipation 🤦🏼♀️
Can anybody tell me if this is normal or if there's anything I can do to help her? She's been quite unsettled today and cries and arches away a lot when I'm trying to breastfeed her. I wonder if its constipation causing her pain...
