Boyfriend?

Soooo this guy said he likes me and he knows that I like him...we've been on 2 dates, cinema and went out for a coffee. We've known each other for like 1-2 months...and he's not asked me out yet...I don't know if that's because he's scared as he hasn't had a girlfriend before...but I don't know what to do. He's acting like he doesn't like me on text but in person he kinda shows it..I just don't know what to do. I don't wanna push him obviously but yeah...
