Should I try the Diva Cup?

I'd love your opinion on the Diva Cup! I've read a ton about them but I'm not sure if they are right for me. I've always used pads except when I'm swimming, because I've never been super comfortable with a tampon. I'm always worried about leaking, and if the strings show, etc. What's your opinion/advice/etc! Thank you :)

yes, and give it a try for at least 3 cycles. it takes some women a little while longer to get it in the right place but once you do, you'll never look back!

I like the idea, but for me it didn't help. My periods are so heavy, I can usually change a super plus tampon every hour for 2 days. I filled the cup quickly. Plus, it wasn't convenient for me at work.

I would suggest trying a Lena cup first. They are shorter in length than a diva cup but hold about the same capacity. I tried diva first and found its shape and length to be a little weird. I personally love the Lena cup because it's shape fits my body better, but also, I think as a whole, the diva is just so unnecessarily long! Check out "precious stars pads" on YouTube. She has lots of great info and cup comparisons. :)

Cups are great! Try any cup. You may have to try a few until you find a good match.

I've never had issues with leaking even with leaving it in for 12hrs with the Diva cup, no discomfort (though some women do need to trim the stem to make it comfortable, but that's an easy fix) and no other issues at all. It saves a good amount of money too. I got my diva cup for $30 and my first cup lasted 2 years- I'd have spent over $200 in that time on tampons (I can't wear pads as I get bad rashes). I figured out how to use mine quickly too and don't find it messy at all. It's really great! I'd totally recommend it.
