Would you still praise the person if they were defending an ISIS member? Would you defend them then?

Taking this from another post because what I am seeing is just wrong. Terrorism IS terrorism. There is no terrorist group that isn't as bad as the other. Would you defend a guy if was wearing symbols of ISIS? Do you think the person defending them would be praised like this woman? 
What I am seeing is just basically if you're white even in a terrorist organization, you can do no wrong. People will still defend your right for your beliefs, people will assume you'll be a better man after that even if you kill innocent people because of your racist beliefs.  
Why is it people are so willing to defend domestic terrorism when it usually results in the deaths of more people than other types? What makes you believe the kkk & isis don't compare? 
Defending these people only enables them to think that they will be protected. Anyways, thoughts?

I would praise anyone saving a human life tbh. Some humans are crappier this others but I don't believe they should die nor should the person that tried to save them. This person has a lot of courage that I would definitely commend them for.

I would never just defend them from being called out on their disgusting views, but I firmly believe that violence towards them just helps perpetuate more violence. Showing mercy and being the bigger person makes those that don't share those horrific views stand out as the better people. One violent act doesn't justify another. I believe that showing someone kindness and mercy is how you can get through to them and hopefully they'll change their views when they see peace. 
I was born into and grew up in a Native community and there's a lot of hatred towards white people. That hatred that they express just turns off others. They don't want to listen. And it only helps to continue the stereotypes of Native people. But when you come forward without hatred other people are incredibly more willing to talk about the issues of racism and to move towards dealing with them. Just an example (and yes I realize it's not quite the same as ISIS, but it's relevant), my university had a big movement towards Native rights and changes when I attended. We had a number of speakers. Most were excellent and my classmates were so receptive and it helped spark really good conversations. But one woman stands out, she made comments about how awful white people were for giving our people small pox and a bunch of other stuff. She did address relevant issues, but my classmates just heard her telling them, a generation that has never even been affected by small pox (and neither was this woman by the way), that they were horrible people. They turned off right away. The hate she conveyed in her lecture just annoyed people and was very counter productive. So in my personal experience, showing mercy and being kind to everyone is how we get through to other people- you show them that non-Muslims, blacks, Natives or whatever group we're discussing are not their stereotypes and good people. Hopefully then ISIS and white supremacists will realize that they are wrong. Of course when a person tries to spread any kind of hatred people should be called out and disagreed with, but coming at them with hate and more violence will just continue the cycle.

And if anyone thinks this white supremacy uprising won't lead to an ISIS like American terrorist group, I'd like to sit down and talk to you about the UNA bomber, the Oklahoma City bombing and the westboro baptist church. If I were ever in a situation where I could save a life, or stand on the side line and watch someone be beat to death..I'd like to think I would chose saving a life. HOWEVER! there are always exceptions. 😉
