Too much folic acid?

So since we started ttc, I switched to a prenatal vitamin that contains folic acid as I know how crucial it is during pregnancy (taking nature made prenatal plus Dha type). I also noticed however a lot of foods I eat contain folic acid as well (cereals, pasta, even some nature made wheat breads contains 20% per slice). Just making a sandwich could give me 40% on top of the amount in my vitamin. I read some article recently that too much folic acid could be linked to issues, particularly autism. Has anyone else heard of this? I'm trying to be more conscientious of how much is in the foods I eat, but it seems to be e.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e.

Anyone hear of this? Anyone find they ate a lot of folic acid and all was fine?
