anyone else delivering at 37 weeks?

Question

I'm scheduled for a c-section at 37 weeks exactly due to complete placenta previa. I haven't had any bleeding but doctors want to make sure I don't go into labor on my own. I'm praying that baby will be fully developed and won't need to spend time in the nicu but I'm a bit nervous.

I'll most likely be delivering at 37 weeks due to low amniotic fluid and placenta issues. I'm 36 weeks today and my dr is out of town but he said when he gets back (next week) we will most likely be having the baby. I have been having weekly ultrasounds and I even have one this week along with a nurse visit, so hopefully by Wednesday we will know the plan for sure.

I just read on the Ovia app that 37 weeks means the baby is "near term" meaning that all their major systems are now fully developed enough for them to survive out of the womb safely. 
Also your dr wouldn't suggest something that would put you or your baby at serious risk. I think your baby will be fine, but of course it's natural to worry a little. Your brining a little human into the world! Good luck with everything. This is such an exciting time. Embrace it. ❤️

I get cholestasis ... I did with my boys and am.starting to itch  now so I'd say I will be delivering at 37 weeks never have gone past 37 weeks .

37weeks is full term ... your baby will be OK.
