Almost 4 months STILL has latching amd sucking issues

Christy
Anyone here have an older newborn who just can't seem to get the good latch thing down?! He does decent on my tight but my left nipple is hard for him to hold. He REFUSES a nipple shield and has now gotten to a point where his latch is so shallow that even when I pump and it pulls my nipple, the flow is to fast and he still refuses. I have seen an LC on 3 different occasions all for his issue of having a late tongue tie fix. He has issues getting a good suck and they wanted us to do suck execises, but he never really did them. He woudl just grin our finger with his gum and be dine with it. We got his ptt fix but they didn't tell us since he was 7.5 weeks that it really needed to be done at 1 or 2 becuase they don't really want to relearn how to suck and swallow. I fell like they left me with a HUGE problem and now 3.5 months in, I STILL can't get him to latch and suck right. Any advice?! I've asked his pediatrician about the sucking and latching and she said he would figure it out. I am now having serious clogged ducts on my left side and worried that even with pumping my milk supply with be cut down becuase I can't manually get the lumps out. I used to be an exclusive pumper and am dreading the though of having to nurse AND pump...it was so emotionally and physically draining. I suffered with really bad baby blues and don't want to go back to a place of feeling trapped. Any advice or help or even sharing your own troubles of nursing. It's been a battle for me since the beginning.
