A poem I wrote
I feel alone on this throne
It may be people's dreams to sit on one.
But not when you shout at servants and draw people near only to slap them across the face and beg them to come back
And when they don't
They don't
They ignore you
The forget
You are now one of the forgotten queens
The knight is opposing every single word that comes out of you mouth
If that knight dare speaks it's to tell you you're an idiot, a fool, and you should stop
Or you're going to be on this throne feeling simply and utterly alone
You don't listen
You never did
Or have
So here you are
A queen with a tear stained face
On a throne with no subjects
And no one beside you
Or anyone to fight for you
So you go on regretting not listening to the knights words
And weep
And weep
Till the knight sees you dead on the ground
With nothing left but a throne and a crown
I'm trying to not be that queen at the end. My knight is ignoring me and I suffer everyday on a throne of my own depression and loneliness not ever leaving it. My friend seems like she'll never speak to me again I have no one to talk to or have to stick up for me or comfort me when times are scary and sad. I just wear this crown of guilt wondering where I went wrong and wondering if she'll ever speak to me or if I'll ever find a friend I can actually talk to.
