Heartburn vs Gallbladder???

I was in pain today for 18 straight hours. I woke up last night with burning in my chest and upper back. I threw up everything I had in my stomach and could literally taste the acid. It felt hard to breathe. An hour before the pain went away, I was deciding if I wanted to go to the ER or not but on the way it FINALLY stopped hurting in my ribs and back area so we turned around... i also should mention I had fried cube steak and ice cream last night right before bed so I didn't give myself that 2-3 hour limit of staying upright before bed. Does this sound like HB or gallbladder issues? I've never heard of HB lasting so long,  I was so miserable all last night & today 😪

sounds like when I went to the ER and found out I had gerd(basically extreme acid reflux) but I would go get checked out. I was in so much pain I couldn't even move or breathe.

That sounds like gallbladder issues, i would recommend asking your doctor to check for gallstones

I have extreme heartburn this pregnancy. I also have gallstones and have attacks every once in a while. 
The heartburn and nausea from the heartburn can last all day but it's a very different pain than the gall bladder attacks. The gall bladder attacks start around my right rib cage and the pain intensifies until it feels like a heart attack. I do usually vomit as the pain is so intense. And it goes away after an hour or so. 
The heartburn starts in my chest/esophagus and the pain can get so bad that I feel it in my whole upper body as well as causing vomiting, but it doesn't intensify to the level of the gall bladder attacks.
Also if it's heartburn related to pregnancy it's not always going to have a food cause. Can just be because your stomach is squished bc of the lack of room. If it's gall stones it's most likely to happen after eating something greasy or spicy.
