Relaxed at 37w?

Question

Anyone else just patiently waiting for their LO to arrive? I'm reading so many threads of people freaking out, wanting to be induced and wanting baby here NOW and then there's me...just calm, waiting..lol. I think one thing I've learned through this experience is not to stress since it can put a lot on the baby.... either that or his half island genes are being passed through to me🤣❤️. As his great-grandma would say "everything cool and dandy"😎

I want my baby here now lol! It's the summer holidays here and I'd much rather have her here whilst the boys are around so I know we can get into a routine before the mad rush starts for school again in a few weeks! I'm so IMPATIENT too 😂😂😂

Im not rushed or anything, im due with baby #2 so im more or less just nervous about the transition to 2 kids. Haha 
But cant wait till he is here 🙂
I actually am going to be induced at 39 weeks (im 37 today) Due to my high BP. 
But was given the option to have my membranes sweeped to naturally induce labor. So at this point anything to help me go into labor before induction would be good. 
I had a bad experience with my first baby being induced. Bla. No fun.

The ONLY reason I'm in a hurry is because I'm a teacher and I would really like him to come before school starts rather than on like the second day. It's hard to plan for a substitute when you don't know when they will start... ALSO, my insurance resets Sept 1 and I would like him to come before then... AND he's measuring 3 weeks ahead, and I would at least like a shot at a vaginal delivery. If we wait much longer, and he grows much bigger, my doctor won't even give me the chance.

From like 34-36+5 days I was freaking out, so impatient, so upset that I had to wait longer, I wanted him out now! But now I'm 37 weeks, will be 38 on Friday and I'm straight chilling. I'm enjoying eating and the quiet, I want him here as soon as possible, but I feel so much more relaxed about everything.

I'm 34 weeks and definitely waiting patiently. He's not so much though lol. I'm hoping to move into our new home before he comes so the longer he's in there, the easier and faster it'll be! I'm more excited to move at this point so I can set up his room!
