I've been trying to record my temperature, observe my cervical mucus and cervix daily. I'm trying to do a natural birth control by learning when my body is fertile (until I get it down I am using the caya diaphragm and I'll also use this when I know I'm fertile but still would like to have sex). I read "Taking Charge of your Fertility" which was really helpful and have also listened to some great podcasts.

I seem to have a lot more creamy cervical mucus than what seems "normal." This month I only recorded one truly "dry" day after my period. All the others had some form of creamy cm, even if it was a small amount. I always seem to have a wet sensation feel. I have often in the past had the egg white cm but this month it was always creamy.

My questions are: can one still get pregnant when cm is creamy or only when egg white? If the creamy is a tiny amount is that still a risk for pregnancy?

If my temperature has not risen and my cervix is very high and closed can I use those two methods of fertility awareness (even if my cm is creamy) to indicate I am not fertile?

This question might be a dumb one... is it possible to become pregnant if you have sex while on your period?
