Change of Due Date?

Question

So I had my first prenatal today and I was 5w2 (due 4/16/17) days according to my LMP and a 24 day cycle. When I went in today they said I was 4w5d (due 4/20/17) cause they go off a 28 day cycle which is fine. I don't care as long as everything is looking good and healthy I'm okay with it. 
We are gonna do an ultrasound in 2 weeks to determine how far along I actually am. 
However I just wanted some insight from y'all maybe help me out a bit. 
So my May & June cycles were 24 days long. My July cycle (i looked after I left) was actually a 28 day cycle. So should I just go off there's and be 4w5d?
With that being said if they are right and I'm only 4w5d, I got my BFP at 3w2d (8/6) instead of 3w6d like I thought 😳
Oh my levels are:
3w6d: 143
4w3d: 1086
(From the weeks that they're calculating) 
What do y'all think?

Hey hun doctors will just go by LMP and assume a CD14 ov date. It sounds like you usually ovulate a little bit before that so odds are when you have your ultrasound, you will measure a little bit ahead of what they are expecting and they will change your due date again. It's not that you really got a super early positive, just a difference in how docs measure pregnancy (by LMP and 28 day cycle) and how we track our own cycles. I am going by my ovulation based due date but my doc will go by my LMP until the ultrasound confirms otherwise. you can choose to do the same if you like.

Girl they will juggle those dates around and measurements will be off. Unless it is more than a week I wouldn't worry especially if you know your body.

I'd go off your own dates! I have short cycles (21/22 days), doctor still went off 28 days 🤔 but it doesn't matter because the dating scan is more accurate so I know my dates will be changed once I get a scan 😊

Yeah you're due date may change! They didn't ask me my cycle length and told me EDD was 4/3, which I knew was probably too soon because of my length AND I normally ovulate later in my cycle... I just got blood work done this weekend and of course they said I may not be as far along as they originally thought. I go for my ultrasound next week... that's when I should get the official date!

Length of cycle doesn't matter when determining EDD from LMP.
