I'm getting an iud soon but I can't take Ibuprofen

Hi guys, I'm getting the kyleena iud Friday but was wondering what I could do to help it hurt less. I can't take ibuprofen or any NSAID (anti inflammatory drugs)because it reacts to a medication I take, although my doctor said he's comfortable with me taking it from time to time if I room a really small dose. Is there else I can't take or do that can help prevent some of the pain for the procedure? And what would help the pain after?

Also I'm apparently going to be taking a college exam the next day, will the pain be manageable by then?
