Today is the first day of school for my 7 year old! I survived the summer! I had the house to myself and I was going to get stuff done! I had my day all planned out. Around doing my regular work stuff, I was going to clean the house, go grocery shopping and give the dog a bath. I dropped the dude off at school and was pumped!

I got to the grocery store and had a feeling that maybe I was overreaching in my plans, but what the heck, I'm only 7 weeks pregnant.

I managed to drop almost every other thing I picked up off the shelf, including a 6 pack of Sprite. That was a sticky mess. The box of granola bars I picked up was open on the bottom, so they spilled all over the aisle. When I went to catch them, I miraculously twisted my ankle. I have never been this clumsy in my life. It took over an hour, but I managed to get everything on my list. I checked out and headed to the parking lot and it was POURING! I ran to the car because I had Frozen stuff and didn't want to wait out the rain. I had a house to clean! The entire inside of my car and all the groceries and my clothes were soaked by the time I needed to pull out of my parking spot. Yes, that sucked, but it's only 1030. I still had loads of time to turn the day around.

I got home and unpacked the groceries. Everything but the cold stuff had to sit out to dry. So, I cleaned out my fridge. I realized at this point, that I'm starting to move kinda slow so I ate lunch. I got the groceries put away and did the dishes and decided to sit down for a minute to check out glow. I was planning to get up and do the rest of the cleaning and wash the dog, but I fell asleep instead. Like sitting straight up, mouth hanging open drooling kinda sleep. Not pretty. Now I just woke up and have 20 mins till I need to go pick up the little dude from school. I got next to nothing accomplished and would love to just go back to my couch and ugly sleep the night away. I had no idea how hard all this would be and it's just the beginning!
